ADHD AWARENESS MONTH 2026
ADHD rarely shows up at work as a neat list of recognisable traits.
More often, it shows up in the moments people misunderstand: the task that never quite gets started, the deadline met through another invisible sprint, the question someone is afraid to ask — or the capable employee struggling with something everyone assumes should be easy.
This live 75-minute session helps employees, managers and leaders look beneath what they can see — so they can make better sense of those moments, approach conversations with greater confidence and begin identifying what a person, process or working environment may need more, less or differently.

ORGANISATIONAL SESSION
Not sure if this is right for your organisation? Book a call and talk it through with Maisie.
Submitting an enquiry doesn’t commit you to anything. It simply allows Maisie to check your preferred dates and begin the conversation.

AWARENESS IS A STARTING POINT
Your people won’t all arrive with the same knowledge or experience.
Some will already understand ADHD deeply. Some will bring lived experience they may never have shared at work. Others may still understand it mainly through familiar traits, stereotypes or things they have seen online.
This session is designed to hold all of those starting points: informed enough to give HR and leaders confidence, human enough to engage the wider workforce and nuanced enough that colleagues with ADHD feel recognised — not reduced to another list of characteristics.
The aim isn’t simply more information. It is greater confidence in how to understand and respond to the next real moment at work.
DESIGNED TO TRAVEL BEYOND THE SESSION
Each element has been included to help participants connect the learning with real working life — and consider what they may want to notice, ask or do differently next.
BEFORE
Shape the conversation
A short organiser context check helps Maisie align the session with your audience and priorities.
REFLECT
Create space to notice
A downloadable mini-workbook helps participants connect the ideas with their own experiences — without compulsory homework or personal disclosure.
DURING
Look beneath the surface
A live 60-minute session uses relatable examples, lived experience and evidence-informed insight to make ADHD in working life easier to understand.
EXPLORE
Make room for real questions
A protected 15-minute Q&A creates space for the nuance that rarely fits neatly onto a presentation slide.
after
Keep the conversation going
A 30-minute implementation call focused on one organisational challenge
October gives your organisation a reason to begin the conversation.
This experience is designed to help it still matter in November and beyond.

FROM INFORMATION TO INTERPRETATION
Knowing that ADHD can affect attention is one thing. Knowing how to respond when a capable employee cannot begin an apparently simple task is something else.
Throughout the session, participants will use a practical Curiosity-to-Action Lens:

NOTICE →
Separate what has actually happened from the assumption attached to it.
UNDERSTAND →
Explore what activation, executive functioning, regulation, invisible effort or shame may add to the picture.
LOCATE →
Consider whether the difficulty sits within capability, current capacity or the surrounding context.
RESPOND
Identify what the person, task, process or environment may need more, less or differently.
Curiosity isn’t a soft alternative to accountability. It helps us make sure we are responding to the right problem.
Participants leave with more useful questions, shared language and greater confidence to approach workplace conversations without blame, shame or automatically lowering expectations.
Maisie joined us for a Neurodiversity in Conversation session, and it really helped us gain a better understanding of neurodiversity in the workplace — and how we need to change the way we approach things such as interviews. The session was thought-provoking and factually driven, but delivered in a highly engaging way. I would recommend that all businesses give their teams more knowledge on this important topic.

A NOTE FROM MAISIE
I know ADHD as a late-diagnosed woman who spent years experiencing its impact without having the language to explain it.
I know it as an employee, a leader and a business owner. And I know it as a mum raising neurodivergent children in a world that can be very quick to respond to what it sees, without always becoming curious about what might be happening underneath.
Alongside that lived experience, I bring more than 20 years of professional experience across education, social care and workplaces. It means my sessions are evidence-informed, but never detached from real life.
I won’t give your team a perfect script or a neat list of things that “people with ADHD need”. Because ADHD doesn’t show up in one neat, predictable way — and neither do people.
Instead, I’ll help your team become more curious about what they notice, more confident in the conversations they have and better able to recognise where a person, process or environment may need something more, less or different.
You don’t need to have all the answers before we begin. You simply need to be willing to start the conversation.
